Outfit of CNY 2014 (Part II)

Posted my outfits and also the details for the day one to day three of lunar new year. So now it's the pictures for the next few days!

Just simply match these two pieces together as there's only one visitor that day, which is my cousins. So just simply pick out these two pieces from my wardrobe and put them on. 

Chu 9

According to the Chinese tradition, we need to worship The Lord of Heaven on the 9th day of Lunar CNY. We need to place some sugarcane at the front of the house. I did some research on this. The story is roughly like this, there was a gang of people being chased by a monster at the first day of cny. They ran and hid themselves behind the sugarcane. Until the 9th day of cny, they got out from the place they hid. They believed that The Lord of Heaven saved them and the sugarcane protected them. So this is why we need to place the sugarcane in front of our door, symbolize the respect to the sugarcane. 🎋
